Wednesday, May 30, 2007 Band camp's over. It's kinda fun i guess? But it's very very tiring. Footdrills and footdrills. TSK. And theres very less band practice :( Band camp is suppose to have more band practice right? ahh.. Day one was rather okay i guess. Cuz i cant really remember anything.. LOL. But we did footdrills and games(wacko ; double wacko) and hmm..all the usuals things luh. Lunch, dinner and well, of course, bathing luh. And no offence, the food kinda suck. LOL. The taste is very blend and well, plain? Yups. Solo compeition for group 3 & 4 . Pheeeew. It aint group 1 & 2 . Oh yea, Im from group 1 by the way, LOL. xD And the solo compeition consist of TWO rounds(NOTFAIR!) as most of the people played a few bars and mrtan says the limit is like, uhm, 8 bars? LOL. Puuh-lease, How am i gonna find 8bars of frenchhorn solo? LOL. It's difficult, but i managed to find it. Hoho. will elaborate later. After the solo compeition, we watched the movie <<>> Kinda cute. LOL. Did pumping or rather stayed in pumping position for almost 10mins after the movie. Than ZZZZZZZZZ Day TWO was nt as tiring as day one luh. Thankgod. Had breakfast, than sectionals band practice, and CIP and Solo compeition for group 1 & 2. (in radom order okay?cuz i kinda forget which happened first.) CIP was a trip to old folks' home. Kinda boring, but rather memorable. For Jolyn,Kamchoo,and me i guess. Jolyn,Kamchoo,Yunzhen,and me went together and tried hard to talk to the old people.. It proved to be a rather challenging and difficult job as i dont really think that we're rather accustom to talk with old people. I mean, i dont usually talk with my grandparents, sometimes, it's just a few sentences. Rigght? What happened was that the four of us tried talking to two old women, but (obviously) to no avail. LOL. The first one kinda kinda ingnored us. WTH. I mean, we're doing something nice here alrigght? Geeees. Anyway, the second attempt went just as bad as the first one. Although the lady there smiled at us, but also ignored us. -.-"" Sheeez. Are we thaat bad? URGH. the third attempt was better but it dint really turned well. LOL. The old man we talked to was kinda depressed. I asked him what he like to do in the old folks' home and he said : “跳楼" It's like OMG? We're scared stiff! Than started telling us his life story..... about his childrens.. everything. And after that, we assembled on stage , and we saw him crying, we were terrified! What if he does something like jumping down or what? OMG. Geees. Than we told mdm yeo, and guess what? She kinda lectured us not to care so much. WTH. She's URRRGH. After the CIP, went to mac to eat. LOL. Mdm yeo treated ALL the band members to ice-cream. LOL. haha (: After that back to school, sectionals. Was a hassle as i hafta take charge of the sec ones, and benedict and thus also prepare a song for solo compeition. And pooor nigel, im like complaining to him every single minute what to play, and that i cant play the pieces, and whatever. LOL. He endured all that. (: haha(: I choosed Elcaminoreal and fate of the god for my back-up-song.. well, in case i freaked out or what luh. Haha(: And we learn a new piece on that day : PHANTOM OF THE OPERA! OMG. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVEEEEEE ITT! WHEEEEE. SOOOOO many solos luh. And im very scared you know? Hoho.. Solo compeition went rather okay for me. And guess what? i freaked out, and well, nigel's sitting beside me and i kinda complained to him, again. hahahah(: He was telling me that i can do it.. have faith in myself.. and i almost played fate of the god. Hoho. It went quite well actually. :j i kinda pulled thru. And Mr lun said : steady rythm . :) And guess what? i got into semi-finals =D After solo compeition, it's movie time. We watched <<>> OMG. It's a rather bloodcurling show. LOADS of killing. It should be the war in somewhere i guess. Not sure, cuz it's very boring and im like staring at the screen, not really paying attention. hoho. Than ZZZZZZZZZZZ after movie. DAY THREE's activities was kinda heavy. Morning run(and pumping afterwards),breakfast,footdrills or sectionals first i cant remember.. and than lunch. Sectionals is still the same as day two. LOL. was complaining to nigel and anybody whos interested in listening again. Hahaha. I really pity nigel.. but thats what seniors are for isnt it? Hoho. Choose Mononoke to play for me semi-finals. HUGE risk. High re. OMG. And after lunch, it's solo compeition. I kept on complaining to nigel, and telling him that i "cannot make it " LOL. But i did! I made it to the finals. And mr tan said: Good. (: after that, games. They played wet captain ball. Shall not elaborate. and than dinner, than AZMAZING RACE. I grp with diana, jolyn , hanuram and a sec one tombonist. Was kinda fun actually, but i prefered last year's amazing race..and the grouping for last year. haha. And the first station, lihua and hanwei's in charge. The STUPID spiral staircase. Damn it. the challange is that we hafta get two personin our group and tied one of their legs together and walked down the stairs. Uhm, rather hop down the stairs i guess. LOL. It HURTS okay? I still have the marks on my ankles. Oh btw, jolyn and me took the challange and when we're going up and down the stairs, we're bickering at the same time. LOL. =P The station 7 was the MOST difficult and the most "no-sense" The clue given is circle. WTH. The place is hockey pitch. LOL. It made no sense okay?!? Hockey pitch aint circular.!! WTH. Anyway, my grp came in 10th. LOL Shuld be almost the same as last year.. but last year is more fun.. haha hanwei went missing for last year.. haha (: After amazing race, went bathing and than ZZZZZZZZZZZ DAY FOUR kinda screwed up for me.. Footdrills are okay but tiring.. Solo compeition went seriously wrong. ='( I SCREWED UP VERY BADLY. I mean, i can play it. Definetly. Inside the "waiting room" and after the compeition, i can play elcam properly no doubt! WTH. Im such a failure. TSK. I've dissapointed kinda alot of people.. there're expecting better from me. I've dissapointed (most importantly) MYSELF, and nigel. Nigel gave me LOADS of help and courage and help me gain faith in myself. He believed in me. And yet i let him down.. and i let my frenchhorn section down too. *SOBS* NVM. I can do it next time. After that, prize presantation.. got the consolation prize HOHO. WHATEVER. The bus ride to science center was ANYTHING but fantastic. In another word, it suck. -.-' Felt sick after the bus ride.. Was very very very giddy. TSK. Anyway, was feeling loads loads better when we( Jolyn,lizhen,lucinda,eunice) took the uh ride. Sort of moving and shaking about.. Hahaha. Very fun. But they forget to turn on the lights and show us the graphics. TSK. And we endured almost about 10min of darkness and EVERYBODY screamed this" HEY YOU FORGOT TO TURN ON THE LIGHT AND WE CANT SEE ANYTHING! " LOL. After that 10min ride, we complained and the person-in-charge let us play it again (: wooots. Haha but this time wth sharinah and ainn and aiyshah(: After that, Choonkun,hanwei,lizhen,jolyn,eunice,lucinda and well, me of course went to science center. Was VERY VERY FUN! Took alot of pics too. (: Hahaha. and than we went to waterworks. Was VERYVERY FUN! Everyone except eunice took a dare and ran through water and we're dripping wet. Hoho. After that's the movie. Shall not elaborate anymore. Am tired(: Tuesday, May 22, 2007 School today was BORING! TSKK. >.< Checkup at 8am. Was soooo wth. Cuz my reg no is 16, it's like, uhm kinda close to GUYS? It's UNFAIR can? LOL. Mrs yaw told us that theres a mistake in the maths project. HRUMMPH. But thankgod ma' grp didnt started doing anything. PHEEW. (: Assembly was SUPER DUPER BORRRING.!! Mr (uhm) Vice-principle gave us a talk about, lightning.. safety things. Whatever. Dint really payed attention-.-" suprise. Monday, May 21, 2007 Sectionals in band today was HORRIBLE. Im SICK and FED-UP of teaching anybody, everybody. Why issit that EVERYONE think that i LOVE teaching people? Hey seriously, i dont. I DESPITE teaching people. Course they wont appreciate and give a damn. and they'll just forget whatever i taught and i hafta REPEAT myself again! URGH. Wont you feel MAD when you hafta repeat yourself (not for once) but OVER and OVER AGAIN!? And you know what? I only teach ONE line for the scores for TWO days. ONE LINE. WTH. Im pissed. Was kinda okay i supposed. & maybe i'll grow to love piano? Hahaha.. We'll wait and see luh! Actually, piano isnt that bad really. If i could pay attention during lessons,and do all my theory homework, who knows? Maybe i wont flunk it again.. hahaha. God bless me luh. Learning Grade 7 practical from today onwards ! No dinner for me today.. not in a mood to eat. But the most meaniful thing that happen during the BBQ party - zixin showing us the scores.. and guess what? Phantom of the opera is among them GOSH.
